For the second time Tormod is visiting Denmark's leading entertainment competition for brass bands, SilkeBlæs, as a guest soloist and adjudicator.
The contest takes place on Saturday February 28 at the impressive Jysk Musik & Teaterhus. Ten of Denmark's leading brass bands is competing about the prizes. To separate the bands, Tormod is joined by adjudicator Nigel Boddice.
In the gala concert Tormod will be featured in the two most popular items from his latest CD From the Deep. Those are Song (in memoriam Bengt Eklund) and Two Folk Tunes from Valdres, both arranged by Frode Rydland and now available with piano accompaniment as well as with brass band and wind band.
Tormod is accompanied by the professional Danish military band Prinsens Musikkorps conducted by fellow Norwegian Arvid Anthun.
