New CD released

10.02.2008 - Tormod's brand new album From the Deep was released at the Norwegian Brass Band Championships in Bergen on February 8-9.

The album has already been met with massive interest and the orders keep flowing in.

On From the Deep Tormod is superbly accompanied by the Leyland Band and conductor Russell Gray. The repertoire is a mix of mostly new and some old and seven of the titles are released on Tormod's increasingly popular publishing company Fundamental Music. There are new works by Frode Rydland, Gustav Øistensen Aaberg and new arrangements by Margaret S. Antrobus, Nils Eivind Nikolaisen and Thomas Rüedi which are never before recorded.

'This is Tormod's third solo recording and his keen sense of musicianship, electric technique and rich tone prove an irresistible combination.' -Steven Mead, producer Bocchino Music
